SYSTEM DESIGN                                                                

We are certified sanitation practitioners with extensive knowledge and experience is designing sanitation systems.  We have designed sanitation systems for over 600 clients that are in still in operation today.  Every sanitation system must have be designed by a certified sewage expert to properly protect the safety of the populous and our critical groundwater resources.  Onsite sanitation system design has 3 major components:  a proper site evaluation, an accurate soil analysis, and a design report.

• Site Evaluations
  

                   For new, or existing sanitation systems, we perform comprehensive and detailed site evaluations to determine what type of system is right for the property and the owner.  There are many factors that will indicate what systems will or will not work including:  location of a well, soil type, depth to groundwater, sewage volumes generated, and legal required setbacks.  We will eliminate areas that are not suitable and identify locations that might be acceptable. 
                 In all situations, a full soil analysis will need to be done.  Free Flow Consulting Sanitation has performed over 1000 site evaluations for clients.  As a trusted and expert professional, we have also taught countless sanitation practitioners how to execute proper site evaluations.  This expertise is what sets us apart.

• Soil Analysis
  

                   For all sanitation systems, analyzing the soil is essential.  Contaminating the groundwater must be avoided at all cost.  Improperly treated sewage that enters the groundwater can cause illness, and even death, when those groundwater sources are used for drinking water from wells.  Therefore, it is critical that you hire an educated and experienced soil expert that you can trust. 
                    For soil based treatment systems, an accurate assessment of the soil profile will help determine the size of the system, it's location, volume and type of application, and it's maintenance requirements.  Free Flow Consulting has extensive training and knowledge in identifying soil texture and soil structure which are the driving factors in how wastewater will move through, and be treated by, soil.  We have trained over 1000 individuals in classroom certifications courses and over 500 in soils days in the field.  We are the trusted professional you need.
