Free Flow Consulting was initiated by its' founding owner, Mr. Chad Brooking in 2007 in Calgary, Canada.  Chad graduated from the University of Manitoba, in Winnipeg, Canada, with a Civil Engineering degree, majoring in Water Resources in 1999.  After some years teaching abroad, Chad returned to Canada in 2004 to settle and work in Calgary.  Chad entered the onsite wastewater sector by managing the wastewater division of a local concrete company, Westcon Precast.  It was during this time that Chad began to take great interest in onsite wastewater and became very active in the sector in Western Canada. 

Noticing an opportunity to start his own business, Chad opened up Free Flow Consulting in January of 2007 with a major focus on the design of onsite wastewater systems.  Over the next 4 years, Free Flow expanded its’ business streams to include regulatory support for local government, training of onsite wastewater professionals through certification programs, installation of new systems, and maintenance of existing systems.  Free Flow Consulting has done work in all 4 Western Canadian provinces and is recognized as an industry leader in onsite wastewater.

With over 600 system designs, 1000+ professionals certified (with Chad as the lead instructor), more than 30 installations, and countless workshops and seminars, Free Flow Consulting strives to provide exceptional knowledge, service, and accountability.  In 2016, Free Flow Consulting made a strategic decision to enter the global market and was invited by the Swiss organization CEWAS to join their team of global experts specializing in water and sanitation.

Today, Free Flow Consulting has established partnerships in many developing and emerging countries to provide leadership and support of local communities to improve their sanitation environment.  We are extremely proud of our previous work, but are energized and excited about the opportunities to improve the lives of people around the world.
